I WAS NEVER ENOUGH

The sun was shining and I heard my mother´s words from when I was a little girl ringing in my head, "Jessica, the sun is shining, out you go"  But no matter how much I tried my body did not move and my legs did not carry me. July of 2017 was one of the warmest summer months in Sweden for a long time but that did not matter, I could not force myself to do anything. I was 46 years old and had lost control of it all. My body, my mind and my being were totally drained. My battery was totally and completely empty. I had worked so hard for years and this by itself was enough to drain anyone, but I was determined to make things happen. And in addition to this I had gone through some difficult personal things - got divorced, my son had gotten himself into some difficulties and had gotten myself into a conflict with my father, all of which just tipped the scales. It was too much to handle.

HEALTY HABITS = GOOD LIFE

A daily routine is the basis for wellbeing and it leads to a radical changes in the body, soul and consciousness. Routines helps us to create balance in the constitution. Routines regulate the biological clock, contribute to better digestion and nutrient uptake and give you better self-esteem, discipline, peace, happiness and a longer life.

My best advice for a great morning routine to take care of yourself and be the best you.

Wake up early - preferably with the sunrise

Do some physical exercise, yoga, skipping rope, gym or walking

Meditate and/or breathing exercise

Journal - start you day with what you are grateful for, and set the intentions for your day

Drink selleri juice or warm lemon water

If you have a shower, try to turn the heat down for the last 30 sek - 1 min to cold. This will kickstart you in a great way.

WHAT IS YOUR SUPERPOWER?

When we were kids we all had big dreams of what we wanted to become in our lives. I just wanted to be a champion, no more specific than that. My dream was to be really good at something, and this changed over the years, but if I had to pick one, the biggest dream was to become a professional handball player.

That did not happen, but I still think I have become a champion and that I have superpowers. Yes, I have more than one…. don't you? But THE power that has taken me to where I am in life is that I am headstrong.

Do you know yours? Do you remember what you dreamt of as a child? Maybe you wanted to be Batman or Wonder Woman?
